Dr. Pedigo moved to Savannah 34 years ago with his wife after she finished medical training at the Medical College of Georgia and joined a local Pediatric Group. Dr. Pedigo has worked in private practice in Savannah since completing his residency 25 years ago at Memorial Medical Center. He has presented at numerous professional meetings, workshops, and symposia and is widely published in leading peer-reviewed journals in the areas of evidence-based cognitive assessment. He is a member of the American Psychological Association, National Academy of Neuropsychology, and International Society of Neuropsychology. Also, he is a Diplomate and Fellow with the American Board of Professional Neuropsychology and the American Board of Medical Psychology. Dr. Pedigo loves spending time with his wife, their three children, six grandchildren, and English Cream Golden Retriever Sammy.

As the Executive Board Director and Co-founder of a non-profit organization, they are passionate about advocating for marginalized communities and driving meaningful social change.

Hello, my name is Averie Booth! I am a Licensed Associate Professional Counselor and a Psychological Associate at Savannah Neuropsychology, where I am dedicated to providing compassionate and client-centered care. My journey in the mental health field began with an undergraduate degree in Psychology, with a minor in Child and Family Development, from Georgia Southern University. I then advanced my education at Albany State University, earning a Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.

I practice from a person-centered approach, which emphasizes empathy, respect, and unconditional positive regard. I am committed to creating a safe and welcoming environment where every individual feels valued and heard. By focusing on each person’s unique strengths and experiences, I strive to support their personal growth and well-being. My professional experiences have reinforced the importance of understanding and addressing the diverse needs of my clients. I am passionate about working with individuals from various backgrounds and am dedicated to fostering an inclusive space for all.

I am originally from the Atlanta area but have lived in Savannah for about three years now and absolutely love the charming environment this town has to offer. In my free time, I love to go on walks, listen to podcasts, and spend time with my cats. I look forward to working with you and supporting your journey towards healing and self-discovery.
